Why Your IPTV Playlist Is Not Working
If your IPTV playlist isn't loading or channels aren't playing in IPTV ChannelMate, this guide covers the most common causes and fixes.
1. Your M3U URL Is Incorrect or Expired
The most common cause. Double-check your M3U URL by copying it exactly from your provider. Try pasting it into a browser — if it doesn't load in the browser, it won't load in the app either.
Fix: Copy the URL fresh from your provider's dashboard. Some providers regenerate URLs periodically.
2. Your IPTV Subscription Has Expired
If your playlist was working and suddenly stopped, your subscription with your provider may have expired.
Fix: Contact your IPTV provider to renew your subscription. This is nothing to do with IPTV ChannelMate — the app is just a player.
3. Internet Connection Issues
IPTV streaming requires a stable, fast internet connection. If your connection is slow or dropping, streams will buffer or fail.
Fix: Test your internet speed. For SD streams, you need at least 5 Mbps. For HD, 15+ Mbps. Try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network or using an ethernet cable.
4. Server Overload at Your Provider
Sometimes your IPTV provider's servers are overloaded, especially during peak times.
Fix: Try at a different time of day. If it persists, contact your provider.
5. Wrong Device ID at Activation
If the app requires activation but your playlist isn't linked to the correct device.
Fix: Check your Device ID in Settings → About and make sure it matches what was entered during setup.
6. Firewall or VPN Blocking Streams
Some corporate firewalls or VPN services can block IPTV streams.
Fix: Try disabling your VPN or switching to a different VPN server. If on a corporate network, try your home network.
7. App Cache Issues
Old cached playlist data can cause display issues.
Fix: In the app settings, clear the playlist cache and reload your playlist.
When to Contact Support
If you've tried all the above and still have issues, contact us at support@channelmate.tv with your Device ID and a description of the problem. Note that we cannot help with issues from your IPTV provider's server or content — those must be reported to your provider directly.
